The Salli Twin is the original and most popular entry-level Salli saddle stool. It features Salli's patented split seat — the two-part design that eliminates perineal pressure and promotes natural pelvic tilt. It has simple gas lift height adjustment and is available in a wide range of colours and sizes. It's the most customisable and accessible model in the Salli range.
The Twin has a fixed-width split seat with simple height adjustment only — no swing mechanism, no forward tilt, no seat width adjustment. The SwingFit adds an active swing mechanism and adjustable seat width. The MultiAdjuster adds adjustable seat width, angle and forward tilt for back pain. The Twin is the right choice if you want the core Salli split seat benefit at the most accessible price.
Yes — the saddle position naturally restores the lumbar curve and takes pressure off the spine. Many practitioners find the Twin resolves their back pain entirely. However, if you have acute or severe back pain, the MultiAdjuster gives you more adjustment options to find a pain-free position. We'd recommend trialling both if possible.

Sizing & setup
Salli stools come in three height ranges:
Small — under 5ft (42.9–54.4cm)
Medium — under 5ft 6 (51.6–69.6cm) — most popular
Large — over 5ft 5 (58.4–82.6cm)

Most practitioners adapt within 2–4 weeks. In the first week you may notice mild muscle fatigue in the core and hips — this is completely normal. Your body is strengthening muscles that conventional chairs allow to weaken. Start with 2–3 hours per day and build up gradually. By week 3–4 most practitioners are comfortable all day.
Yes — the gas lift height adjustment means the stool can be quickly shared between practitioners of different heights. For practices where multiple people share a stool, the Medium height range covers the widest range of users.
Ordering & delivery
As each Salli stool is handcrafted to order in Finland, delivery typically takes 3–5 weeks from the date of order. We will keep you updated and confirm your delivery date as soon as we have it from Salli.
Yes — we offer a low-cost UK-wide trial on all Salli models. We deliver a stool to your practice, you use it across real clinical sessions, then decide. If you go ahead, the trial cost is deducted from your purchase price. See our trial page for full details.
All Salli stools come with a 10-year warranty on the frame and a 2-year warranty on accessories. This reflects the quality of Finnish manufacturing and the durability of the product under daily professional clinical use.
